Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Florida
I actually have a double question. My boyfriend is seven months younger then me so obviously I would turn eighteen before him. Would it still be legal for us to continue dating each other? Also would it be legal for us to sleep together and be sexually active with each other while I was eighteen and he was still a minor?

Yes, it will be okay. In FL, it is a crime for a person 24 years or older to have a sexual relationship with someone who is under 16. So, basically, in FL, 16 is the age of consent. You all will be fine to continue your relationship and not worry about criminal activity.
:) Good luck to you.
