Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Florida

Emancipation

I am 16 years old, I have my GED , I have a jod, and plan to start college in April 2009. My family does not beat me in any way, but I would like to get Emancipated. I have found a place that I affored that is very close to my job. I am currently living with my grandmother,(who has permanent custody of me and my two younger siblings) my mother, my sister, my brother, and my mothers friend in a 3 bedroom double wide. My grandmother dose not want me to move out but I feel that getting emancipated will help me further my education because i would be able to do what I needed without a parent or gardians consent, the reason I say this is because my grandmother is to busy with her job to go with me to get what I need done. I truely fell that being emancipatied would be the best thing for me. So how would I go about getting this done? Do you thing the state of Florida would let me do this? Are my reasons for wanting to being emancipated going to meet the requirements?

You can file a petition for emancipation, but not without permission of your legal guardian, so if your grandmother won't let you, you won't be able to do it.
