Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Florida
juvenile case
my son was arrested in ft. myers fla. on a gun charge along with a burglary charge he was 15. They state wishes to charge him as an adult. He ran away and if he stays free until he is 18 will the juvenile court loss jurisdiction. and or will the circuit court take over the charges?

If he's charged as an adult, the adult circuit court takes over anyway, whether it's now or then.
