Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Florida
moving out
I am 16 yrs old and will be 17 in a month. I live in the same home and always had with my abuser. I was molested by my mothers son for a couple of years and now it is to the point where i cant handle seeing his face anylonger. My best friend of 2 yrs and boyfriend of 9 months and his parents welcomed me into their home with open arms. of course my mother will not let me move in with them. How do i go about moving in with them legally. please help asap.

Re: moving out
It is not illegal for you to move in with whomever you want. However, if a parent orders you back, you must obey. You need to speak with the police and your school counselor about what has happened to you.
