Timeout

Are Children Aloud to be in time out for longer than there age like

if your 10 you can not be in timeout for more than 10 minutes

Though a minute per year of age is a good rule of thumb, and though it's advised by many psychologists, the law doesn't set any limit on how long timeout can be. However, a timeout that lasts too long can be considered child abuse. An extreme example would be a timeout that lasts hours for a four-year-old. Timeout must be "reasonable."
