Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Abusive Supervisor

I find myself in a situation where my supervisor is verbally abusing me. She displays two conflicting personalities. At times, she is mean and hostile. At times, she is apologetic and crying. At these times she wants to hug and kiss. I am extremely uncomfortable with her physical displays of affection because I feel like she is not only mentally abusing me but also sexually harassing me. I recently told her I would appreciate not being hugged and kissed by her and this has resulted in an increase in her aggressiveness towards me. She accused me of being cold towards her.

What can I do the stop this? I do not want to leave my job but I do not wish to continue working under her supervision.

Re: Abusive Supervisor

You should get a hold of your company's anti-harassment policy ASAP and find out who should you report this to. I suggest you consult with an attorney immediately, preferably before reporting the incident. Our firm offers prompt consultations via the Internet for a small nominal fee.
