Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
I have an aunt that works at a hospice facility in florida and I applied for a PRN job their. During a phone Q & A session with HR director I remarked about this and was told that this may be a conflict of intrest. We are both nurses. The HR director needed to check with the facility administrator for verification. I was then told that its frowned upon and that was it. My aunt and her husband both work their and two sisters work at this facililty as well. What course of action can I take if any? Or should i leave it alone?

A private business can set its own policy related to nepotism, and there is not much recourse that can be had if that is the reason employment is denied. It could be that the position that you applied for reports directly to aunt or one of your other relatives, which may create the appearance of a conflict.
If the facility does not hire you then it might be worth asking if the reason was due to the relationship and see what they say.
