do you think i have a case?

my boss has been cursing at me calling me stupid a** dumb a** told me once if i mess up something he would kick my a**. the last incident was he came up behind me and burned me with a cigarette then laughed. i told the owner and all he did was suspend the guy for 2 days. i work in orlando florida

Employers are generally required to provide a safe working environment. If the employer knew of your boss's violent tendancies, it may be liable under theories of negligent hiring or negligent retention. Also the supervisor has committed a battery against you which may be actionable. You should contact a local attorney for advice.
