Changing employment

I have been amployed by the same dentist for 8 years and decided to leave due to long drive (27 miles each way), and have more family time. My boss called my future amployer and bullied him into retracting the offer. Do I have any leagal standing?

Probably not, if what he said was truthful or just his opinion.

Contact the other guy and see if you can keep the job. If not, look for another job. Your boss sounds like a jerk.
