Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

The company is located in Sanford, FL.

I am an independent contractor (PGA TOUR Rep.) and hired for a salary of 50K + expenses per year. I have worked there for the past 4 years. In March 2010 they just quit paying. I was aware the company was not in good shape but I have never been fired, laid off, etc... just not paid. Was told many times that there was going to be outside investment coming but if has never happened. The company is still running. My question is do I have a case to sue for back pay?

Yes you can sue for back pay, commisisons, expenses, etc. Plus under Florida law, you can recover the attorneys fees and costs that you spend to get that money. If you have any questions check out my employee rights blog www.takethisjobnshoveitblog or my website www.behrenlaw.com.
