Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
The company I work for was sold. The new owners are saying there is a loophole for everything just find it. So we are all wondering what loophole they will find to terminate us with out unemployment or other compensation. How do we cover ourselves when the rules/ policy changes daily.
The company is a Spa, everyone there is paid a percent of services. So when we have no service we are now expected to do house cleaning and other general duties with out compensation. (maybe 1-3 hrs a day at 5 to 15 min increments. As per your work schedual. Otherwise we could leave or do other personal things while waiting for our next guest.(House cleaning and other duties was part of hourly personell, not there any more)
