Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Can a corporation hold an employees payroll for an extended period of time after the close of a pay period. Example, a pay period ends on the 15th and the checks are not sent out until the 22nd of the month.

Generally no, but it depends on the terms of your contract and when payment under the agreement is actually do for a work period.
