Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
demotion disrcrimination
I am a foreigner, with US residency (''green card''), who was sent for an international assignment overseas for 3 1/2 years. I then recieved excellent reviews and an individual performance prize during my foreign assignment (only recognition, no money involved), but my single bonus prize during my assignment was much smaller than all local employees in that country, many who never received any performance prize. I was told that happened because the company offered no bonus in my base country, the US, even tough I was not working in the US. I then was relocated back to the US a few months ago to find that I was going to work to the employee that took my job when I left. Even tough my salary has not changed, my current assignment is a mere part of it was before I left and this new person makes more money than me. I really believe that these two situations happened because I was a foreigner in both countries (I am originally from a third country). Is this enough for a discrimination cause?

Nope, no case based on what you have written, in my opinion.
