Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I am being denied Paid Time Off for resigning 2days before I was eligible. However prior to resigning I spoke with my manager and called Human Resource Services to verify that I would receive PTO if I resigned and they told me I would. I've waited almost 2 months and now they tell me that I'm ineligible because I resigned two days too early.... when they specifically told me I would receive it before I resigned. Had they told me I had two work two more days I would have done so. Do I have a case?
