discharge under contract
while residing in NJ I merged my company with another. I agreed to move to FL and run the ''south'' business for salary+bonus'. I sold my home in NJ, moved, ran the business as agreed, turned a huge profit for the business and then was sent a letter of termination.
Upon arrival to FL my agreed upon salary could not be met but it was agreed once the business took off I would be repayed the back salary. I never was. The equipment used to run the FL business was mine from our merger. My property was never returned nor purchased. The bonus promised was never paid. The lifetime employment was never upheld. Do I have any recourse here?
The only written document I have is a verification of employment requested by my financial institution at the time of my construction loan. It clearly indicated the agreed salary as well as bonus info and promise of lifetime employment. I have the original document bearing partners signature. Can I persue the money due?? It is a substantial amount.

I would need to know more details and see whatever documents you may have from your business deal but you may have causes of action against them possibly for fraud, promissory estoppel, breach of oral contract.
