Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
Discrimination
We have a new COO in the company he is from another country and he was sent here to cut budget and set new rules, I discovered an e-mail that he sent stating that I was getting paid to much ad the they could hire someone else for less money. I took on the job that two other technicians use to do. Now he states that I cannot handle the job by myself, however everything that he has asked me to do I have done and have copies of everything. He also talks in another language in front of the employees to one from his native land as we cannot understand if he is talking about us. He also goes to lunch with other employees from his Nationality and sets rules for the rest of us. Everyday I feel that I am being descriminated against. Can you help.

Re: Discrimination
At this point, fortunately you have not suffered an employment loss for you to file a claim. But, I strongly urge you to have a formal thorough consultation with an attorney, whether it is me, or somebody else, to go over your concerns and strategize for the future as I get the feeling that the writing is on the wall. Most lawyers will charge you a for a preventive consultation like this, but it will be worth your while in the long run. I represent individuals throughout the state of Florida and can arrange for a telephonic consultation if you are too far from Miami to come in person. You can contact me at [email protected]
