doctor's diagnoses as reasons for policy exceptions
Our employees often bring in doctor's notes to get exceptions to our attendance policies. These are maintained in supervisor logs and often diagnoses are discussed amongst management. Exceptions get made depending on how bad the illness/injury is. What, if any, legal landmines are we facing.
