Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

documents

The working relationship between my boss and myself has become intolerable. I am in the process of job hunting and she is in the process of firing me. I was asked to sign a document that showed I received the same document about myself, yet there was no line on the document stating this or anything that would show agreement or understanding of the words printed on the document. It is just blank after the last bullet point. Is it a legal document and is it legal to ask an employee to sign a document that does not ask for a signature?

Re: documents

It is not clear what you are being asked to sign. Generally, she can ask you to sign something that acknowledges something and you may want to do so. Be sure to get a copy of whatever she asks you to sign if you decide to sign it.

Your post does not really indicate clearly what the document is, though.
