Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
WE had a dress code meeting and the HR Manager used the example of "rape" as a means to justify a violent crime. She said its not the Rapists' fault, its the womans fault for wearing certain types of clothing. She said the victim provokes the man and thats why he rapes her. I was offended and disgusted because I was raped at 14 and my daughter was raped at the age of 8! She basically said that it was our own fault that we were raped because we provoked these men. As an HR Rep what boundaries did she overstep? What steps can I take here?
