Elimination of Position

I was hired by company four and half months ago in which they came to me and hired me away from another company. They stated they where hiring more manangers because of opening up a new location in several months and promised a great pay increase. I ended up in the hospital last week with a blood clot and now they say they have eliminated my position. I feel like that because of my medical condition they feel like I might be a liability and they wanted to reduce the risk. Do i have any rights to protect my self?

Sounds like you could have a disability discrimination claim. Should file charge with the EEOC if employer has over 15 employees. Call my office if you would like assistant with this whole process. Thanks.
