Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I have been employed for over 18 years. Now my company is wanting me to sign a non compete form. I am 57 and a recent widow. I refused.

I am told I will be terminated unless I sign.

I live in florida.

Absent an ageement that would prevent this, they can fire you assuming this is a uniform requirement now.
