Employer holding check
If I quit my job because of job related stress can my employer legally hold my last paycheck?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. You are 100% entitled to every penny owed for wages which were already earned but unpaid. If your ER refuses to pay you, contact the U.S. Department of Labor immediately!
