Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
i have an employer who has not paid me in months. it comes to about $1500. I have talked to him and he syas he doesn't have any money. It was all contract labor. Also, he threatens to "give it to his lawyer along with the other 14 people and you won't get paid because his lawyer has all the pay checks." Which he also said you'll have to get a attorney to talk to my attorney. Will I every see the money without an attorney?

Call Wage & Hour Division of the U.S. Department of Labor in Jacksonville and make a complaint.
However, you are probably out of luck.
