My ex employer wont pay me my vacations when in the employer handbook it says it should I am in FL

You should sue them for the unpaid vacation. Under Florida law you are also entitled to recover your attorneys fees. I have also blogged on this issue on my employee rights blog www.takethisjobnshoveitblog.com.
