Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Do I as an employer need to provide a terminated employee with a written statement on why they were terminated. The employee was sent home during a shift for having a complete meltdown and dirupting the entire building with customers well within earshot. The employee approached tables and used obscenities loud enough for customers to hear. The employee also refused to leave after being told to leave the premesis. We as a management team discussed the outcome and decided to part ways with the employee after 24 hours.
