Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Can an employer refuse to put me on light duty and send me home and then told me i could take legal action but I wouldnt like the repercusion

You would need to provide more information as to why you were put on light duty. If it was a workers compensation claim, then you might have a legal claim against the employer. You would really have to discuss the facts of the case with an employment attonrey to see what can be done.
