Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
Hello - My employer, in the state of FL, charges an automatic 18% gratuity to each bill. At the end of the bill, there is an area for the customer to leave and optional gratuity. It is written as "ADD TIP_____." I am not sure if it could mean additional tip. Is there a possible lawsuit, possibly based on deception?

It depends, but you would not have the ability to bring suit as you are not affected. It is the customer who does not read the bill.
