Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

employment backgroung check.

What will show up on a employment criminal conviction background check. I have never been convicted of a crime. Will any arests show up. Can they,legaly, ask about being arested and do I have to tell them if asked.Will only convictions show up or will anything else show up?

An employer may ask about criminal convictions, they may not ask if you were arrested.

A background check may/would likely reveal arrests and convictions. Neither Florida nor federal law prohibits an employer from asking about prior convictions or arrests, so if your employer asks, it would not be unlawful.
