Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Employment

I have been paid 23.75 a hour since 2006. Recently my boss cut me down to a 32 hr. from the normal 40 a week. Which I did agree to but now my paycheck states I am getting 40 hrs. a week but at a hourly rate of 19.00. My past vacation pay was at 23.75 a hr. but if I use my vacation time I am only getting the 19.00 a hr. Please advise me on my vaction pay and if there could be any reason as to why the employer might want to have it listed as if I am getting 40hrs. I sorry I feel that something sneeky might be going on.

Re: Employment

Have you asked the boss about it? There may be a simple explanation. If you are working 32 hours that is what should be reflected on the sheet. You need to clarify what effect this will have on your vacation time and pay.
