Ex-Employer asking for back healthcare increase

My ex-employer of 3mths is asking that I pay for a healthcare increase that took effect 11mths ago that they never took out of my paycheck. Am I obligated to pay this if I no longer work for them, and had no control over what was taken out of my paycheck?

I would say No b/c there is no legal way that I am aware of that they can use to compel payment on your part.
