Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I fell at work and cut my hand and need surgery to fix the tendons that was cut aswell. When it happened i reported it to my supervisor and we left for the inpatient-outpatient care. They recommended me go to the ER and have it x-rayed. My safety supervisor and i decieded to just let them put butterfly band aids on it and go about our way. When i got home my girlfriend freaked out and took me straight to the hospital. While on the way, i called my supervisor to let him know i was going back and why. He then said he thought it was a good idea to be seen. He met me at the hospital and stayed while i was seen. When i came out and told him the ER doctor stitched it up long enough for me to been seen by the surgen the next morning, his whole attitude changed. He acted very shady. When asked if i could pass a drug test i replied " yes, im sure but i am nervous because this weekend was my birthday and i was around "pot" but never smoked it". He then said i should be fine. we both left the hospital. When i call the place to have my surgey done, they wouldnt talk to me but wanted to speak with someone working with my workers comp claim. I waited around all day to hear back from someone so they could look at my hand. Later that evening around 4'ish, i recieved a phone call from the BIG guy in Atlanta telling me i was fired. I asked why and he said he wasnt talking about it. I work here for 4 years of my life and put in countless hours and sweat for this large company. I moved up several times because of my hard work and determination to get a job done. Everytime they needed extra help and was short on staff, they would call me because they knew i was up for the job. I was there like i needed to be and on time. I was a good employee to them. Do i have a case? The workers comp $ is nowhere near enough for me to pay all my bills and take care of my grandmother. Is there some kind of legal action that can be taken?
