Fired for calling INS on illegal mexicans

I was recently fired from my job because i called INS on the illegal mexicans at my job. I was almost attacked by one a few weeks ago. The owner of the restaurant found out by word of mouth that i called. The owner had the head Chef and another manager take me in the office and fired me for those reasons. I want to know if this is grounds for suing.
