Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I was fired from my job because my boss was mad at me over a disagreement we had over a fight she had with her boyfriend in front of me at a night club. that following week she never spoke to me and made my life hell at work. She stated she was terminating me because I took a Dr.s order over the phone, She has always had us (the supervisors) take orders and I called her out on this. I did nothing that she hasnt had me do for over a year do, and now she fires me. I had the HR director in the office the whole time. My boss said" THIS IS PERSONAL" Is this legal and should I find a lawyer??? I loved my job and I was a star employee. never a call out and all my reviews were great. I e-mailed a long letter to corp. and they called me today and ask me what I wanted them todo, and I ask them to consider me back. I filed a complaint with the state over some illegal things going on so I dont think it even an issue.They know they are in trouble, so why did they even call me today.

Unless you had an employment contract, you were an employee at will, which means you can be terminated for no reason at all.
