I got fired from my job

I walked into my job today and I was not on the schedual completely I only have had one verbal warning from my job since I have been their. that was for coming in late to work and I was sent home for this only once in almost the 8 months I have worked their. other than this I have had no only 1 other verbal warning that was for not filling out my time card. I have never been written up at this job for any reason or have been told of such thing. What can I do?

Florida is an "employment at will" state, meaning your employer can fire you any time for no reason, unless it it based on illegal discrimination or whistleblowing. Seek a consult with an employment attorney to determine if you fit into any of these categories. Also, apply for unemployment compensation asap.
