Being fired after leaving for re-hab
I went in and told my boss I needed to go to re-hab for presciption pain pills, The day after I left I was fired from my job, and every person in the office some how new I was in re-hab for drug abuse. What are my legal options, I was told you can't be fired for seeking medical help is that true?

Unless yu have a contract that gives yu special rights, the employer can fire you for not showing up to work if you have no planned vacation time or sick leave available.

The ADA would protect someone with a drug addiction so long as that person is not currently using illegal drugs.
