Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

i got fired by a paint company that i worked for 6 weeks. he never had any workers fill out application tax form etc. he pays us cash and never in full and excusess why .i am up to 1605.00 i have 6 kids here to feed to. he found out i have a pass 12 years ago now excuse to fire and not pay.during period of working there had us paint this historical house with water down paint unlabeled paint cans around had me tear of labels painted over dirt mildew no pressure clean either caulk cracks over dirt and mildew no sealer or primer.i complained to the general contractornumerous times and ask them about unlabeled paint cans dirt etc. they act like dont care. home owners are not there on premises either.i did a mistake of not a notice to owner but a claim of lien on home and general contractor what happens now can you help me my kids need your answer advice thank you also found out he working under another license cant find one on him?

You don't have a claim against the homeowner. You were an employee not a subcontractor. You can sue the employer for the pay that he shorted you and owes to you.
