Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
I was fired after proving embezzlement. Do I have a winning case and will I receive my final check and/or pay for damages?
My Executive Director embezzled over $100k from a contract(City/State/Federal funds), I have proof of everything. I was told to keep quiet by the Chairman, Attorney and the Treasurer of the board. They want me to sign a contract saying that I can't sue, talk about it or testify against them before I can have the paycheck they owe me. I have all the evidence proving my claims.

Probably not legal for them to hold off on paying what they owe you to shut you up. Would be happy to speak with you about this matter. Feel free to call e-mail me at [email protected]. Thanks.
