''Firing after background check''
Can an employer fire after hiring when background check shows a felony and you did not give false information on your application, nor questioned during interview process and later leaks the information to co-workers who should not have been this information to spread and gossip about my reason for termination?

Yes, under Florida law, they can fire you for any reason at any time--regardless of whether its a good reason, bad reason or no reason at all.
