Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Florida Employer threatened to withhold final paycheck unless I send them a letter of resignation. I resigned two weeks ago, put in my notice and it wasn't asked for until I left. They stated that it was in my new hire paperwork. Are they allowed to withhold a paycheck?

No, not supposed to hold pay check. I would also apply for uemployemnt since it was really a termination and not a resignation. Feel free to call or e-mail me to discuss further.
