Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Florida says I owe them $6600 from unemployment overpayment. It stems from a $3 settlement check I received from a class action lawsuit from California. I am owed more than $2400 in past due unemployment amd have been fighting them for 2 months yet they keep saying its California's problem and California says its Florida's. What are my recourses?

I think you need to deal with FL if they are the ones saying you owe 6600 and this is where you filed your unemployment claim. A class action in CA is not really the issue, I do not think. It's a "red herring" issue, as we lawyers like to say.

If you don't want to deal with it yourself anymore, you can hire an attorney to do the work for you. Be prepared to pay if that is the option you choose. $250/hr.
