if you work full time does your boss have to provide a paid vacation or pay you for any time missed like sick time

An employer is not required by law to provide paid vacation time or paid sick leave to employees. However, if an employee is on salary and not paid by the hour, they should be paid a full day pay for any day in which they work regardless of the number of hours worked that day.
