Garrity Rule Imposed Questioning

I was told by my attorney that the aGarrity rule imposed questioneing conducted by my formenr employer was not in effect because the questioning has to conducted by law enforcement.Is this a true statement? If not or so what are the parameters. I was told by my employer an attorney that I would be protected iunder the garrity now another attorney is telling me something totally different. Who's right?

Garrity under protects you in certain circumstances and is dependent on the type of employment you have. Please provide the specifics of where you were employed, by whom and in what capacity, etc. so that I can further assist you.
