Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Harrasement

I am being verbally harrased at work by another employee. They use profanity toward me, and in a round about way threaten me. Some of this has been done in front of the store manager. All the manager does is talk to the person and this is going no good, it continues. what legal recourse do I have if any?

Re: Harrasement

Unfortunately, unless this conduct is motivated by an illegal factor such as your age, race, gender, national origin, religion, etc. (or other protected characteristic), then the employee's behavior falls into the unfortunate type which we would all like to avoid--but which does not violate any Florida or federal law. Nonetheless, if you'd like to see it stop, you may want to consider putting a complaint in writing to HR or to management.
