Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Hello,

I was hired (W2) by a recruiting company to work with one of their clients.

As estated in the contract:

"Length of Contract - 6 Months - Remote work-with 30 days written notice for termination of contract"

After 2 months of work and receiving pertinent payment, client chooses not to continue and recruiting company informs me of end of contract.

Shouldnt I be entitle to 30 day notice/payment?
