Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Being let go

I was hired on as a temporary employee for 90 days. After the 90 days, I was never told that I was let go and kept getting emails asking if I could work. I also got an email asking about my employment status, which I said I would continue my employment. The other day I had to go to a rehiring session where I was told that I was let go, but was being rehired. I was never informed about being let go and my bosses made it seem like I was still employeed. Is it legal for them to let me go without every informing me of this?

Re: Being let go

Your question doesn't make sense. After the 90 day period, were you working or not? If you were not working, then obviously you had been let go. If you were hired for a 90 peri0od and the 90 days elapsed, then you were not let go, but your employment ended. If you were working for them after the 90 day period, then you shuold have been getting paid and you were not let go. What am I missing here?
