Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I got hurt last year at work was on workers comp for 6 months had yo have surgery and all on my knee, once released by doctor on January when I called my employer to go back they lay me off no means, no room, no position. When I filed for unemployment they lied and said I quit my job and been fighting it for months & they caught them on their lie and desition was reversed on my favor since they were denying my benefits. Can I sued them for lying and for not receiving benefits and going thru real hardship and almost losing my home and having no money. Please let me know. Thank u
