Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
my husband filed a suit against his company for overtime they owed then they offered him his job back if he droped the case so he did they fired him and now come to find out they dropped the case with prejudice but we were never told that nor did he sign anything . can they do that ?

WOuld need to see the settlement documents from his case and any settlement agreements signed by the parties. Might be a claim now for retaliation against his employer that fired him.
