Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

My husband had worked for this company for about 7 years, in that time he very often worked well over 40 hours, (56, 48), in one week. nine times out of ten times he got paid all the time in straight pay, not over time, What are his rights? He also never got his vacation pay, as they refused to give him his vacation.

The company is a national company and is based out of NC we are in FL does that change things? or does it turn federal?

If he was an hourly employee he should have been paid for all hours worked over 40 per week at an overtime rate. He probably is also owed his vacation pay. Just because the company is located in North Carolina, does not mean you can't sue them in Florida where they do business here.
