Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

My husband's employer in Florida has written several payroll checks with NSF. This has happened at least 3 times in 2 months of work. My husband is afraid to file a complaint because he needs the job, but this guy is definitely taking advantage of his employees and his actions are illegal. What can we do? Where do we go here in Central FL?
