Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

On a job opening they state applicants must be non-so\mokers. Is this legal? I see it as discrimination. Can you please try and explain this tome. Thak you

An employer is not required to hire a smoker if they do not want to. It is "discrimination" in the true sense of the word, but it is not improper. There are lots of reasons why someone may not want to hire smokers.
